Mississippi Solar is a licensed Residential Builder and Roofer in Mississippi, Lic #16229. The company is a certified installer for Sharp, Enphase, Xantrex, and DWP Systems.

Will Hegman, owner of Mississippi Solar, began working with Strauss Electric when designing and installing wind & solar on his sailboat in the Caribbean in the 1980’s. He has completed both basic and advanced Photovoltaic courses from Solar Energy International, as-well-as, Design & Installation courses from Miami-Dade College. He holds a NABCEP Certificate of Knowledge, Certificate Number E022109-55.

In Addition, Mississippi Solar partners with Tim Walsleben. Tim is a licensed Remodeler and Residential Builder, Licence No. R05593. Tim brings years of experience in weatherization and remodeling across MS through his Company, Signature Homescape, located in Brandon, MS.

Mississippi Solar designed and installed the first grid-tie battery backed system under the TVA “Green Power” program in the Central Electric Power Association area, and the first Grid-tie system.
